Airport pairs we move every week
We consolidate from the whole Pearl River Delta and hand over at the airline's acceptance desk. The usual origin and destination pairs on this lane:
| Origin (China / HK) | Destination (India) | Typical transit |
|---|---|---|
| Guangzhou (CAN), Shenzhen (SZX), Hong Kong (HKG) | Delhi (DEL) | 1–3 days |
| Guangzhou (CAN), Shenzhen (SZX), Hong Kong (HKG) | Mumbai (BOM) | 1–3 days |
| Guangzhou (CAN), Shanghai (PVG), Hong Kong (HKG) | Bangalore (BLR), Chennai (MAA) | 2–4 days |
| Any of the above | Hyderabad (HYD), Ahmedabad (AMD), Kolkata (CCU) | 2–5 days |
Transit times are airport to airport on direct or one-stop services and depend on the day's capacity. We tell you the actual flight and the cut-off time in the quotation, not just a number.
How the chargeable weight works
Air cargo is charged on chargeable weight: the greater of actual gross weight and volumetric weight.
- Volumetric weight (kg) = length × width × height (cm) ÷ 6000. That is the standard divisor for general cargo, which is the same as roughly 167 kg per cubic metre.
- Cards, textiles, plastic parts, packaging and other light cargo therefore pay on volume rather than weight — which means the packing method has a direct effect on the freight cost.
- Rates are quoted in weight breakpoints, typically +45 kg, +100 kg, +300 kg, +500 kg and +1,000 kg. Crossing a breakpoint can make a heavier shipment cheaper than a lighter one — we check both for you.
- A minimum chargeable weight applies per shipment, so small sample shipments are often more economical by express courier or consolidated with other cargo.
What we need to quote you accurately
- Commodity and HS code (or a plain description if you do not have one yet)
- Actual weight and carton dimensions, or the number of pallets and their size
- Pickup address in China and delivery address in India (door-to-door quotes need both)
- Whether the cargo is general, battery, dangerous goods, temperature controlled or high value
- Required arrival date, if you have one
Send these five points by WhatsApp or through the form on the home page, and we will reply with the rate, airline routing, transit time and the cut-off for that day.
Special cargo we handle on this lane
- Batteries and electronics — packing instruction and shipping documents checked before booking, because an undeclared lithium battery is the most common reason a shipment is stopped at the airline.
- Temperature controlled and pharmaceutical cargo — cooled trucking in China, temperature-logged handling and, where required, an active or passive container agreed with the airline.
- Dangerous goods — we confirm the UN number and class, prepare the Shipper's Declaration and book only with carriers that accept that class to India.
- Urgent spare parts and samples — same-day collection in the Pearl River Delta, hand-carry or next-flight-out options when the line is down.
Documents that travel with an air shipment
Air waybill (issued by us as the forwarding agent), commercial invoice, packing list, and for special cargo the dangerous goods declaration or battery test summary. A full list of what normally goes with a China–India shipment is on the documents and customs checklist page.
